Bored???? apart from mandatory mind numbing corporate policy update presentations, or other such manner of employee abuse and torture, I can't remember the last time i was bored. ......... Even then theres always a good ole game of bullshit bingo with a like minded colleague to add a little light to the merry-go-round

In reality Im happy with my current job, to be honest, its the people that make such a waste of a day tolerable, not the job at all.

From what i see, most jobs today produce nothing of value, help no-one but the masters at the top, and just about most people are 100% replaceable in a short time with little or no negative effect to the organisation.

now dont tell me they help me pay my mortgage, cause you will just open another whole can of worms :D

feckin hell, I better just write the damn blues song :D , im not even drinking tonight

Thus the term "starving artist".

Industry has been streamlined. First modify the process to eliminate skilled labor. Then eliminate labor entirely. Then eliminate the product. That's what they mean when they say "service economy". Eliminate the hardware.

The economy has a flywheel effect. The money continues to change hands whether anyone produces anything or not. The real money is in swapping money from hand to hand. Produce nothing. Profit from those who do produce something if you can. There's enough money in the economy that it can be passed hand to hand for a very long time. If you can afford the price of admission that is.

couldn't agree more, creativity is now a dirty word in the workplace, ....

The industry i work in, spends half of its time measuring the other half. If they ever decided to just do a job, i wouldn't have one.... i'm just a measurer :D with a remit to construct imiganary boxes for others to tick.

Luckily the senior monkeys don't try to show me their arse and the rest just enjoy a laugh and a bit of sanity to paint a bit of colour on what would otherwise be just an exercise in self deception, .... dont get me wrong though, we are very good at deceipt, and produce it very efficiently

now where was i

My Baby I sold her,
just the other day
i gotta bad price
.....on ebayyyyyyy

Tubetwang help me out here ive got songwriters block :D

Ok Declan...
Here goes...

Wally cart blues

"Got shot down at the trailer park
just tryin' to re-coup me cart
officer down..called for help
no-one responded Serpico style

Got the Wally cart Blues
Got the Wally cart Blues"

On a positive note, i've just read this on the Wall-Mart Forum...

"following a tip from a junior member of The Amp Garage Forum, we've had to send the 3th Brigade down at Bob's Trailer Park to take down the shopping carts fence, arrest the crack dealers and procecute them in Federal Justice.

And in an effort to offer a better service to our dear customers, these carts will now be equipped with GPS tracking device and electronic drug sniffers".

Been there done that:) Gets boring fast actually.... im thinking of doing a new amp, cant decide on what though.. getting more into surf..

[img:640:480]http://home.comcast.net/~roadrebel/cobra/cobradyno.jpg[/img]

BTW, 351c stroked to 383, AFR 205 heads, TFS stage2 roller cam, eagle forged bottom end, TFS intake 50# injectors... with a ATI procharger doing 11PSI of boost...

520hp at the wheels in a 2200# car that gets 25mpg:) I think it was more scary than boring... but it gets old either way...
