Just have to say again how beautiful that Paul is. The fade is stunning. I never would have thought of doing that, but "it works" as they say in the art world.
What kind of dyes/stains are those, if you don't mind the question?

Star brand analine dyes suspended in very straight lacquer, no added modern goofy stuff.

The cherry component is straight from Gibson circa early '60s. I might have two thimbles left. heh

You should sell a wall of amps and jump on the buy a Les Paul thing right now. I know where there are a couple nice ones for fair prices.
