Hi Mike and all:

While respecting privacy, I know Mark went in for some diagnostics and a procedure. I have sent him a couple of emails to check on his progress. Others have inquired about his absence as well. I haven't heard back from him yet but will leave a message this afternoon. I do hope all is well and that he is just under observation and recovery. Mark is a helluva guy and his retirement is just around the corner. I hope to see him around here and back at his bench cranking out amps very soon. Keep him in your thoughts.

Yea,I believe he had a quadruple bypass if I spelled that right.I think he may come home at the end of next week.I would like to send him a card Ill see if I can get the address.As far as I know he is doing OK but is very sore.He is a US Marine so I know he will do well,Mike

Good luck for a speedy recovery Mark.
I know several guys who have had this procedure, and all came through fine, and feel much better for it.

I wish nothing but the best for Mark. He's an awesome person, a super nice guy and a hell of an amp building talent.


I too know people (in worse shape) who have made it through this procedure. It sounds scary but the success rate is extremely high and it drastically improves the quality of life. I will keep Mark in my thoughts and wish him a speedy recovery.
