Don't vote for politicians - it only encourages them.
And if you have to - vote Loony.
You know it makes sense.
Seriously.

I can't get too mixed up with political threads.
Not being American, I can't vote.
But.
If I could I'd vote for Lefty.
And Miles.
And all the Angels here.
I'm proud to be a member here.
Because of you guys.
You all know who you are.

One of the biggest problems we have in politics is that the set of personality disorders it takes to be willing to run, and to get elected, disqualify one as a viable officeholder.

The next biggest problem is the assumption that it's ok to have the billionaires buy whatever offices they think they should control.

Citizen's United was a very poor decision.

I don't even know the Bozos from the other states anymore. I must be doing something right.

Mark Twain was a brilliant genius.

Me and Lefty would run this country like it should be. As a business... in New Jersey. We'd insure it to the hilt and burn it to the ground. Guess who's moving to Florida!!?? (makes circular gestures around the United States)

I'm thinking Florida is America's limp dick. I want to invade Baja, Mexico so retirees can live on America's hemorrhoid.

Retirees no longer favor my home state. They've screwed it up too bad. They're going to Arizona now. Put them all in Tucson and let them deal with the illegals.

This thread is what puts this place so far above anywhere else I've ever found.

Rock On!

(and of course there's the amazing pool of brilliance... but that's obvious)

I can't remember the last time I voted for an incumbent of any stripe. We need term limits and not lifetime politician, fat cat, bullshitters. These guys line their pockets and fleece America - during and long after their tenure. It's criminal and so are many of them :!:
