Techs in CT/NY/NJ area

Post by lgehrig4 »

My Cornell Plexi 45/50 needs a little tlc (see link below). I can probably do this myself but I think I'd rather have a pro go through it instead

I live in Trumbull CT and I work in White Plains NY

Thanks
Jeff

Isn't our Firestorm near Danbury? And Jelle somewhere near NYC?

And I'm close to Poughkeepsie.

I am in Morris Plains NJ, but unfortunately I am too busy right now to help. I would recommend either Andy or Leo.

Thanks!

Yes Jelle and Andy are both close to Newark Airport. I was not aware that Jelle was doing repairs.

Thanks guys. I never think of Fuchs because his amp/pedal business is so successful, but that would be a good choice. Wish someone was in CT though ;)

Nope, and I used to be the one in Wicopee and Hoople Junction but I moved. Something to do with the water - you could set it on fire - or do your dry cleaning with it - or paint your house with it - long before it was popular.

If you are close to Sacred Miracle Cave I have a friend over there that is pretty good with general electronics repair. Dwayne Hoobler. He's listed in the book.

Thanks for the kind words folks. Yes, we operate a pretty busy repair shop and provide service to a number of music stores, carting companies, and local musicians. We'd be glad to work on the Cornford, no sweat. Thanks for thinking of us.

We are in Clifton NJ, about 20 minutes from Manhattan at midday or on a Saturday. 10-5 M-F and 10-2 most Saturdays. 973-772-4420.

Hoobler, zat what you say? Yeh I had 'em work on the microwave. Didn't cook worth a dam' once I got it back, but there was a rash of airplanes that missed the runway at the local airport when I did try cookin'.
