As long as the electricity stays on, it will be good for my customers. I'll be bashing away at repairs. Ready to camp at home for a week if necessary. Got a couple friends with plows, if I wait long enough they'll get to me so I've made up my mind I'm not gonna struggle with the snow.

Good luck to everyone else in the storm path, and thanks deeder for watching out for us.

A sunny 55 F here in southern BC. Out here on the West Coast the jetstream is several hundred miles to the North right now, this weather is more normal for early April.

Global warming anyone??

It would be smart to move to parts of the globe that are warm, gets my vote.

Well folks this storm-of-the-millenium didn't turn out to be. What goofy name did the news services stick on this one? Should be Melvin. No 2ft (60cm) snow, no trees/branches down, roads are clear, wassabiggadeal? It's cold & windy and there's a couple inches of snow to shovel, just another day in frozen paradise.

'Nother couple days, here comes another. I'm ready! Campbells and chef Boy-R-Dee made sure of that.

Back to the workbench. Tons of busted gear are calling me.

I was able to get my connecting flights yesterday from San Diego to Salt Lake to Fargo with not much of a delay. Call me lucky. :)

Very much like Nazca Lines meets a sand mandala. The guy is surely aware of Robert Smithson:
