Goodbye, and Thanks for all the fish.

Post by LeftyStrat »

Dr. Who has informed me in a private PM that I don't belong here and don't have the right connections to contribute. Wish you all the best.

Goodbye. And if you're wondering why this forum went the same way as 18watt, maybe it is due to the same people.

Yo Lefty-
Don't go...If one "bad apple" moves into your town and everyone sez "there goes the neighborhood" and moves out, the vacuum is invariably filled with more of the same! The only way we can preserve the neighborhood is to stand our ground and not bail out. There IS strength in numbers; please reconsider...

Lefty,
Just sent you a PM. Please don't leave.

Everyone,
Let's get one thing straight - no one on this board has the right to say who belongs and doesn't belong on this board besides me. I don't want to come across as a jerk but this is my board. I have been pretty lax with letting some things go b/c I don't want to over-moderate the forum. I want people to speak there minds but keep it in a respectful manner.

Let's stop all the BS and get back to making amps,
Omar

Lefty - stay. Please.

Dr. Who - vent elsewhere, please. You don't have to leave but please consider being a little nicer. Pause before you post. We come here for a common cause.

Omar, if I may make a suggestion...

Out of 2836 members, only 938 of them have even posted once! Maybe a pruning is in order. Any members older than 30 days and 0 posts should be removed. They can always sign back up once they are ready to contribute.

I know that won't remove the offensive posters but, that will narrow the field a bit. Those people are not contributing at all. Maybe a 20 post probation threshold for new members. Any thrashing posts...goodbye.

This is one of my favorite places on the net and I, for one, would like to keep it that way! :D

Just an idea......

Thanks to all that have posted here or sent me private messages. I'm normally pretty thick skinned (definitely thick headed some times).

I'm going to stay around and try to keep to the amp building threads.

Let's fire up the soldering irons and make some good tones.

I haven't been here long enough to comment on your suggestion
Allynmey, but this is one killer DIY amp forum. Thanks Omar for letting me participate.

God Bless,
John
