Uhoh. I installed a 60s V guard on a guitar and walked ten feet to make coffee. It was a teeeeny bit tight around the treble pickup, not stuck, tight. Uninstalled in the 80s. They are thinner than the other guards.
Ok. So the guard shatterededed itself into 5 very expensive and hyper-useless pieces of brittle garbage.
