Deluxe reverb trem q

Hi. Can i take the bulb and ldr out of the circuit and leave it open?

Thanks! I have 2 drri and 1 has the extra pcb for trem...the one that sounds best. So i will get the bulb and ldr from the other one and put it there...but will leave that one open.
