Ok, so?
When I die, I want to go like my Grandfather did, peacefully in his sleep.
Not screaming like the passengers in his car!
Cutting out a man's tongue does not mean he’s a liar, but it does show that you fear the truth he might speak about you!

This is the fender amp discussion. It’s a rather famous deluxe reverb amp and mods. Some members here may find it interesting or useful.

The 400VDC coupling caps in the PI are a bad idea. Mesas fail all the time because of this. 630VDC will be better.
It's because the -bias voltage is cumulative with the positive plate voltage. The cap 'sees' both these voltages added together. So if we had a -50VDC bias voltage and a 250VDC plate voltage on the PI, those caps would be 'seeing' 300VDC. Then factor in, when the amp is unloaded, those voltages can be higher.
I also think trimming up the values there could be a good idea. Gets rid of flub and blocking distortion.

This is somewhat interesting. So where did this come from? Is this Trey's actual amp that is pictured?
Most people stall out when fixing a mistake that they've made. Why?
