I need opinions from real players in the real world on this amp! Would You buy it? Do You own one? What do You think? I'm looking at this model for a practice/studio amp..and I'd like some feedback from others.
Thanks.

Re: Marshall MG30CFX..???
I used to have an earlier model MG30RCD. No FX on that one, but it came nowhere near 30 watts clean, more like 10 watts. My SE amp (10 watts) was far better sounding. I tried running the little Marshall through a 4 x 10" cab just like my SE amp, thinking the 10" speaker in the combo was a problem. Nope, it still sounded like a SS amp.
Yes, as a practice amp it's fine, but expensive at $200 IMNSHO.

If you're looking for a small practice amp--the Roland Cube is hard to beat. Inexpensive and don't sound that bad. If I had to, I could gig with one (put a mike in front of it).
Re: Marshall MG30CFX..???
I'd stay away from it unless you can get it for a really good price (i.e. almost free). It has the Marshall badge on it, but that's really the only thing it has in common with the amps that made the name famous.
