Anyone actually start to build this amp since the schematic and full layout is now available for you?

I certainly will... later though. I have too many things going right now. :? Is the layout on post #4 of the last page your final answer?

Finished HRP #3 today into cab tomorrow maybe.

The next amp series, I will move all the small components on the tone board over to the right so they line up with the preamnp tubes.

Thanks Mark.
I started , the only chassis I had left is 16/8/2.
So lucky I had cap cans. I mounted the trannies and cap cans today.
This amp is gonna be used with lips and butts parts, but hopefully the hotdog will turn out ok
When I have something that looks like an amp I’ll post a picture

Should work like you said with can caps that frees up a lot of real-estate.

I went to 20" x 6.5" x 2.5" so I could use a long board with everything right there to see.

Looking forward to seeing your build.

I'll get the video of myself playing from my friend's phone and post.

Also, want to get some more higher gain video footage, might have to get my friend Steve Stine to play :D

Sounds awesome Mark. Thanks for posting this video!
What speaker are you using in the video where you are playing?

I have all the parts for this in my basement just need to find the time to build it.

Cheers

Thanks, arthritis really slow me down and you can hear my fingers dragging or not holding down the strings. Time to switch to a different musical instrument :D

The speakers are two different Eminence 12 inch both 150w rated but I can't remember what model of Eminence speakers I have in the cab. People keep asking so I need to open that cab up.

Blazing!!! Your shop looks like mine... Like a parking lot after a flood moves all of the cars... Lol. Even the E Cap, I've always got one sitting somewhere random. 😁

Number four going together today.

Slow progress with all the emergency hospitalization of my wife for her unexpected heart condition, Emergency Room treatment for my youngest son's unexpected heart condition, oldest son having heart issues as well as my daughter having health issues. All from Sunday through today, whew.

I had my heart surgery in December 2011 and so far doing well with only the arthritis & nerve problems kicking my ass!

All that and watching four beautiful grand kids, I'm getting worn out

I really feel for those unfortunate people in the world going through so much stress, I'm blessed to be able to enjoy amps and hot rods.

Mark
