Marshall JMP Screeches
My JMP Marshall 2203 screeches/ squeals bad and hurts my ears when i turn the volume up real loud and get the guitar very close. Is this normal? I thought it might be the cheap tubes I have to use in it.

Sounds like a guitar problem, not an amp problem. Do you have potted pickups?
