Check out this demo of the Royal MSG100, based on an early '69 Plexi modded for use with KT88 tubes. This amp replicates Jimmy Page's number 1 and nails the Zeppelin tone from 1973 and onward!

Nice first post, a little introduction of yourself? Any particular details that you would like to share as this is an amp building community?

Looks like another drive by.
Yes, aged chassis with all the original holes that aren't used or needed. These things are important.
And you have to put an Echoplex in front of it recreate the tone. I can put an EP in front of ALOT of amps and get close to those tones without much effort.
The OP should discuss the details or he's wasting his time cause he's not likely to sell that amp to a bunch of amp builders.

Electronic equipment is designed using facts and mathematics, not opinion and dogma.

Weren't the 10xxx series from '67 not '69? Also I always thought Page played Major's for some reason.

Ditto! How about posting clip of the amp? Any decent late 60s Marshall clone should sound good straight up... like a shot of Gentleman Jack.vibratoking wrote:Looks like another drive by.

If it don't get hot and glow, I don't want it !
