Wanted: Two Rock Ruby schematic
Any1 have a decent schematic for this one?
Or maybe even a layout too?

I don't have either but you could check www.proguitar.de. They show pictures of a Ruby in the amp section under the Two Rock subsection. Hope that helps.
Re: Wanted: Two Rock Ruby schematic
Thanks, but still can't figure out how they solved the effectsloop.

No problem. I can't vouch for its' accuracy, but I've heard it's correct. Enjoy!

Any chance I could get a copy, too? I've been wondering about that one.
Thanks!
Thanks!

I too would like to see that schematic.
Thanks in advance!

Here it is. I didn't draw it, so I don't know if it's accurate. Enjoy!

Re: Wanted: Two Rock Ruby schematic
There is a resistor missing between the return jack and the network feeding the return recovery stage. Otherwise the amount of voltage feedback from the 22M resistor would depend on the output impedance of the FX pedal plugged into the return jack.
Some FX have a passive output where the volume control is connected directly to the output jack. A typical value for this pot is 10k. Max Z out occurs when set to -6dB, which would be 2.5k.
For this reason, the resistor would be 47k or higher.
My suspicion is that the 220k/470pf parallel combination should be on the other side of the 22M feedback/220k to ground combination.
In other words, return jack to one end of the 220k/470pf. The other end of the 200k/470pf goes to the 22M, the 220k to ground and to the grid of the recovery stage. This also makes the 220k to ground make sense as it it forms a 6 dB attn with the other 220k.

Re: Wanted: Two Rock Ruby schematic
Here's a high-res pic of Two Rock's Rocket clone which also includes their effects loop, so the schematic can be verified against that if anyone is so inclined.

Since the general consensus I'm picking up on this seems to be that it sounds pretty awful when it is engaged I'm not going to volunteer!

Re: Wanted: Two Rock Ruby schematic
Thanks for the gut shot. I looks like the schematic is correct.
My guess is it is a copy of the Dumblator return ckt. The Dumblator and Dumblator II schemes are the same as the Two Rock's implementation.
Are the Dumblator schemes wrong (are they all based on a single reverse engineering job)?
Did HAD make a mistake? This voltage feedback circuit is the same one he uses in his preamp and he implements it correctly in the preamp.
Or was he experimenting?
