Man, that's looking awesome!

Thanks, taking my time so I don't have to trouble shoot later

:.). I'm a slow builder myself (2 kids, a job ...). On the bright side, it does make for rather drama free startups!M Fowler wrote:Thanks, taking my time so I don't have to trouble shoot later

On the inductor, it appears to be true that the actual inductor value is not critical. I used the yellow Fasel inductor, the so-called "vintage" model, which measures 0.6 to 0.7H between 120Hz and 1KHz.
The Triad SP-118 is now unobtainium AFAIK.

David thanks for the inductor information I have not bought one yet and think I'll try the yellow Fasel inductor.

Re: #004 SSS mad experiment
The resistors are just to balance the voltage across the diodes.
The resistors, and the caps for that matter are not really needed. With the nice production modern diodes we have now you don't need the extra parts.

Still working on my SSS, got some more done maybe I'll stick with the amp for a while rather then going off doing other projects
My brain hurts just checking the schematic over each time I make a wire run.

Some more wiring done today. Not going to hook up the FET yet still need to make the board for that.
Step filters are next.
I've been going slow and it still looks like a mess I don't know how some of you guys can wire an amp so nice, my hat goes off to you.
