PRS into Dumble (probably HRM)

Post by ElectronAvalanche »

Hi there,

saw this on another forum:

Great sound even at the very low volume (you can even hear the unamplified sound of the strings).

Cheers,

Dominik

If you paid what he did, you'd want to show i to everyone you could too...lol.

I believe that's a 50-W non-HRM, and came from Maken Music a few years ago.

Live, Paul uses his either ODS-100 Fuchs, Sewell's (lately), and the Dumble.

At the Experience PRS open house he brought that one out and let Mark Tremonti use it for the concert. That PRS Private Stock amp as well, but he seemed to prefer the Sewell.

I think that's because he has a mic clipped on his shirt. It sounds fairly loud to me. You can hear the amp sound in the room pretty clearly.

WoW, I did not realize Dumbles produced that much gain. Understand the bridge pick up was hot. Very good to know.
