Need a multimeter?

Post by mhuss »

If you're in the U.S., Sears has a great deal on a true RMS meter right now:

Sure a Fluke is better, but its hard to go wrong for $40.

I have no affiliation with Sears, or whoever makes their meters.

I bought one of the Craftsman meter a year or so ago.. it crapped out,so i threw it in the pile with the rest of them. Finally got my Fluke today.
I also have a Wavetek that has been a great meter.
My craftsman looked different,or was an older model..so maybe the one listed is a bit better.

I bought one, in part because it has a built-in laser. Gotta love anything with a built-in laser.

Can't wait till they have one out that tells exactly whats wrong with an amp, even if its a loose input jack nut, kinda of like the thing Bones used on star trek for people :) Just wave it over the amp and get a read out..
