Here a good sources for the #002 SSS on its own (you can see he is not using the signature TR on pic below - Fender and Marshall are not his rig):

Mayer with an Overdrive Reverb #59 which has a "classic" tonestack and post OD Reverb according to a previous owner

Old post about #59Rear panel has the Ratio control and a power switch 100w/40w and a spare fuse sitting right where it needs to be. Front panel has three mini rocker switches Bright-Deep-Rock, then the usual Treble-Mid -Bass and
Reverb send and return rotary controls.
The cabinet has the harder to find EV 12S speakers and Vox grill cloth.

Re: Dumble video/sound clip reference, real Dumbles only please
Any idea if it was an earlier skyliner, like the transition phase or something more like #183 http://ampgarage.com/forum/download/file.php?id=16846boldaslove6789 wrote:John Mayers 100w EL-34 Overdrive Special : Skyliner
I'm not sure what the OD tonestack consist of but my guess is its an HRM
I'll have to find the Tonequest Article with all the info regarding the amp but here goes some clips of it. Very Fat sounding and expressive ODS amp IMO.

The problem with persisting in reviving zombie threads also means that links may also be obsolete

Hi Nest, welcome to Ampgarage! lovely tone and playing. Loved the way he builds his solo!Nest wrote: ↑Thu Apr 13, 2017 6:24 pm This is my son Jesse who borrowed my amp for a gig playing lap steel.

Since this the "only real Dumble sounds" thread could you give some details on the amp like: is it a Ods/serial no./ bought directly from Mr.Dumble?
