1966 Super Reverb restoration
This was brought into me and have been told to bring it back to how it left the factory.
I didn’t know how bad the inside was till I opened it up
So have ordered new vulcanised fibreboards, carbon comps and trying out the new Sozo Blue Caps.

Why use a fiber board, just strip and reload it as it looks like there are enough terminal points!
No fiber board means one less thing to absorb solder flux and weep voltage or signal to another point!
Also just use a star grounding layout.
Do the customer a favor and change out those Fender style output tube sockets for Marshall type , this way you will not be married to in 4 months when the sockets get loose and drop bias voltage , or just plain drop the tubes out!

This is how he got it back after a service years ago. The tech said he could wire it point to point.
So he wants it restored back to how it was originally.

You know, it may look abominable, but it is easier to maintain with tag strip terminals like that. (But I would NEVER choose to do that to a vintage amp).

Wow, and here I thought the '66 SR chassis I had bought needed restoration. That is a LOT of labor to negate.
