Excited for this. Thank you for taking the time and effort on this project!

Thanks Dan!
After the chassis are cut, bend and welded they go for powdercoating, after that procedure they go for silkscreen.
Pcb are ready next week.
More progress.
The wire used in my previous builds was running out and for this one I used Alpha wire solid core 18awg, 1kV, pvc.
That wire supposed to be be tinned copper, however this is not as soft copper as I was used too.
Anyone got experience with this specific type?

Great looking build Erwin!
I used the Alpha solid core 18AWG in a build once and it was hard on the hands. Took longer to work with too. I went back to using this wire in the preamp: https://www.cedist.com/products/wire-we ... 0v-50-feet
fantastic work again from you for the community! Bug ups for that!
Is there a specific reason why the frontpanel of the cassis has no "OVERDIVE SPECIAL" labeling just like on the SSS chassis you sell?
Looks kinda odd with that big blank space in there.

Sometimes I will use the same 20AWG in the preamp too. The stranded coated wire is quick and easy to work with.
Cheers

Thnx Guy, yes probably better to use 20awg anything but heater wires. I had such a big stash of wire over the years, I completely forgot the exact diameters to order.
Plenty of 18awg now.

Thnx VolkerStaub,
Steel String Singer has a nice spacing on that spot.
Overdrive Special without a builders name doesn't look right as far as esthetics.
From what I gather buyers generally want it blank on that spot to put something on themselves.
Easy to do in black with all print options these days.
