Changed the Input Grid Stopper to 68K

For how I use this Amp, I think a bit of trimming in the highend was needed.. Now it's more in the guitar lane for how my Amp sounds..

I'm running Chinese EL34's and Amperex ECC83's.

I have a G12M's and a G12H to try, but they are shriekingly bright at a bedroom volume. Maybe they would sound best, but I'm not in a situation where I can play that loud!
For now it's Fane F70's and Vintage 30's. I'm cranked into a Rockcrusher Attenuator recorded with an e906 Mic with no post EQ, just the sound in front of the Mic into a Neve 1073.

The Fanes are a bit warmer and shift the mids a bit lower. Celestions always have that grit to them.. They both sound good and very different and will seems to imprint your ears to one or the other depending on which one you listen to first I think..

I switched the Preamp Tubes to Baldwin labeled Sylvania's with the Fane Speaker.. More rich, less pointy..

I decided the Fanes with Sylvania's were best. I dumped the rest..

68k grid stopper will introduce hiss.
Merlin suggests to use 10k and add a cap to obtain the desired high frequency response / RF rejection.

I actually removed that very arrangement to add the 68K.
For me the extended highs are to much glaze on the sound. Whatever hiss that's there is still good enough for nearly every Fender and Marshall worth hearing..

Maybe use a higher value cap? eg 1nF.

They work out to 34k.
