Hi Dana,

Do find any difference running 3x 20uf and 3x 40 uf as opposed to 3/ 20's 1/40 2/30's as in the original?

I haven't built one with 30uf caps but I like the way mine sounds with the 40uf.

Glad to hear your boards got there today in time for the weekend. I have had a few people ask if the turrets were included. Just incase anyone else is wondering, I go ahead and install the turrets in the boards before I ship them out.

Anyone interested in a set of boards for their Express shoot me an email.

I am making these by hand at the moment out of 1/8 in thick xx phenolic. They are the same size used in the original Express. The preamp board measures 9.5 inches x 2.25 inches and the power supply board measures 5 inches x 3.5 inches. Holes are .093 in dia spaced at .265 inches apart.

I stated in another thread that I would be building some more sets of these in the next few weeks. If anyone is interested in a set email me and let me know and I will see how many sets I need to build. I'll email you back when I get them ready. I'll go ahead and order the Phenolic Monday.
