I think you need one of each as they are so different or you can do like I did and build a 2 channel amp since both share sort of the same output section. You just need to build seperate preamps and figure out a way to mix two out of phase preamp stages together like in a Marshall 18w and then find a way to switch the NFB in and out and the cut control.
