I don't work for or even like these people much but this is a good deal.

Re: I'm broke but you may not be
Hi, I've looked at getting something like this, but I haven't done any in-depth research... How does this unit compare to Tascam's DR-1? Is it maybe on sale because there is a new model coming out?
Re Sweetwater, dunno what your experience has been, but I have had good service from them. Their new facility is absolutely awesome. The sales guy I work with took time out to give me and my son a personal guided tour when we drove up there last fall.

No, Sweetwater is great I was just trying to indicate I'm not a salesman for them. I'm looking more for a used Panasonic PV-GS250 mini DV camera which I will have to transfer into Sonar 6 for editing and back into video format for YouTube clips. These are VERY well received by the folks at the PRS and the HC Acoustic Guitar Forum. $299 most of the time. I would buy one but I'm really wanting to do the camera thing.

Ой блин! I'm not an expert concerning military stuff! I've meant the bird, Michael J. Fox was flying in that one film. Was it Top Gun? Was it a F18? A MIG29?Aurora wrote:F16 is single blaster.....novosibir wrote:Looks like a F16 from behind

Re: I'm broke but you may not be
I can't justify it, but I would love to buy either the H2 or H4. Is Zoom generally reliable?
Re: I'm broke but you may not be
Bought a H4 about 4 months ago, great for recording practice/jam/gigs.
It has real pain in the ass menus that need the techno adaptability of a 10 year old to use it for anything complicated.
None of that really matters as its recording function is what i was really after, and at least that is pretty easy to use.
I'm no expert with this stuff but anyone who has heard even the low quality mp3 recordings has been pretty impressed.
No idea how it compares to the rest but i was also persuaded by the great reviews i read on a few forums

do yourself a fav and get the tascam dr1 instead--
Re: I'm broke but you may not be
The Zoom seems a little flimsy to me.
I like my M-AUDIO MicroTrack 24/96, and the newer model is even better.
