Regarding Music Electronics Forum:
I've been a member since 2005 and I feel like I've lost my left arm now that it's gone (:- (
I have so much on a daily basis to post as well as the need for information that I know is on that forum including things I have posted over the years that I have forgotten about!
Is there any other forum that anyone can suggest that even gets close to the level of expertise and experience that MEF had?
I really hope the WebMaster can get it going sometime soon. Such a plethora of valuable information.

Not for solid state stuff. I've been posting SS questions more on thegearpage.net, where you can find RG Keen, JM Fahey, and many other brilliant helpers.

Music Electronics Forum 2!!

Post by SoulFetish »

So, I was searching around for some updates on the status of MEF, and I came across this link:
https://music-electronics-forum2.com/
I know some of the old MEF crew have already joined and some of you know about it already. But for those of you who are in the dark about MEF and whats going on, I thought I'd mention it.
I literally only joined early this morning, so anyone have some concrete info on what's up? Are they trying to rebuild and recover the old site like they did with Ampage?

No, it's only new content.

I used to be very active over there, then kids happened and I wasn't there or anywhere. I just now learned it's gone. That really stinks!

There has been some activity at some of the MEF forums. The Sunn page is back up. (link below) Pickup forum and wider MEF is still down, but Tboy must be getting things back up! Yay!!!

Once things are back up, we should all contribute to site costs and the time it takes for him to maintain it.
