Hey guys,Picked up a 91 re-issue bassman that had a nasty distortion problem. Gutted it and went "old school". Amp sounds killer. Used m.c. pt, heyboer ot.,hammond choke, allen bradleys.
Amp worked when I got it. If anyone wants the old parts, you may have them.Just p.m. me. Jim

Very nice clean looking build there! You went with the '57 schematic values for the slope resistor and bass cap, but used the later 6k8 PI tail?

Martin, You are correct. I think fender made the change on the p.i. tail after the schematic was drawn. Thanks for the kind words. Jim

Beautiful work. Gotta love those tidy builds.
