T-thinline style build
Played this for the first time today. Stewmac Parson Street humbuckers, 1 volume, 2 tone.
Shown with my old "hybrid Rev A" amp, built back when that was the only "Dumble" schematic I could find.

That's a beauty....even if it's heresy to have a tele without a single coil in the bridge.

Wow, Tubedude, that is quite a Tele. Nice work.
Re: T-thinline style build
Thank you. My first time with the faux binding and the headstock inlay.

Hi I'm new here been tinkering with guitars and amps for a few years. Nice to be on a site with some much information. Here's a Thinline I built from scratch and finished a few months ago I'm pretty happy with the way it came out. It was a big learning curve the wood working and building wasn't too bad but finishing was a royal pain did the binding twice. Grain filling ash and a metallic body with double binding was a test of patience. Ash body with a maple top, lacquer finish Ocean Turquoise the neck is big 1" and no taper with a 9.5 radius true oil finish and vintage style truss rod. Unfortunately the truss rod plug chipped out and I used stained epoxy to fill it but it can out a bit to light and you can see it if you look. Its got Glendale hardware a Blackropes bridge pickup and I started with a Vintage Vibe humbucker sized CC but replaced it with a Gibson PAF. Twangs well but I built it as a rock tele and it does that well.

Awesome build! Especially for a first timer.0
I know that'll last you a while.

All great looking guitars. Especially love the blue one and the way the grain pattern is carried from the fretboard to the headstock.
Here is the one of my sons and I built (from scratch - 2nd guitar, our first thinline). The 'J' holes are because that is his first initial. I need to improve my guitar porn photography skills.

All right, mates, I can't resist playing the "low" card. Here's my new build, in progress. Harley Benton TE-90FLT VW Deluxe Series (fight me!) body and electronics, with Freestone USA sapele 24.75" scale neck. Waiting for my Hipshot Grip-lock open-gear tuners to complete the makeover. Weight is 7.5 pounds. Total investment: $400. I'm loving the feel of the short scale, and the inexpensive Roswell 'trons are really making me happy.
