I want to build a two channel Alembic f2b with the Pete Cornish mods. As I understand it he adds a tube with each side being a cathode follower to drive long cables, and apparently reduced the size of a cap to cut back on the bass.
Just looking for a schematic and specs on the power supply transformer. A layout would also be nice.
Has anyone built one? I saw a project online that only build one side, but I need both sides for a stereo rig.

I haven't built one of these but have looked into it.
My understanding was that the cathode follower was needed at the end of the chain to give a better impedance match / ample current for whatever the output would be driven into since the stock circuit wouldn't have that.
Are you looking for a stereo project that is all laid out more than the ones that exist online for mono? Can you just put two of the mono ones in a box and call it stereo?

The single channel on online I found didn't have a schematic. If I can get that I can work it out from there.

Have you seen this project page that someone put together for their clone?

Yeah no problem! Keep us posted on the build. I have been wanting to throw one of these together for years now!

Another with back-to-back transformers for the high voltage

I don't remember where I grabbed this, but it describes the mods.
