Re: X-Blender or Minimix II, which one???
Great idea!!! I would love to go this way, but I need to be able to put a mic in front of whatever I've got... I could do a 2 x 12 cab arrangement with W & D to separate speakers. At least I could put it in an isocab. The effects... I have to have a good delay for what I play, so I can't do without...

Re: X-Blender or Minimix II, which one???
Hi ! I don't want to throw a wrench in things, but: If you want to preserve the tone you seem to have carefully crafted, the best way is W/D or W/D/W.You could run W/D with one of those tech21 Power engine 60.It is a powered 1x12,fairly new and supported. You built your amp so you could easily add a l...

Re: Preamp gain stages: how they sound and why
Anything in general.Say you are taking part of thread where somebody is talking about increasing the bypass cap of a 100k Rp,1.8K Rk,from 1u to 1.5u,it would be nice if people would refer back to say the Gain Stages Frequency Analysis graphs.Just using your graphs in general in the discussions if ap...

Thanks to the admins for making a sticky !!
Roberto:If you(and anybody else)could refer to the pertinent graphs when talking about mods(like different bypass caps, etc)that would be great.

Re: Preamp gain stages: how they sound and why
Thank you Cliff !!
I kinda tought its content was related to harmonics.I couldn't decipher it because I had no idea about the Fourier Transform concept.I will study some more.
Thanks again Cliff and Roberto.

Thanks Roberto ! This is great !!! I have been studying tube amp theory the last year, reading Merlin Blencoe,Richard Kuehnel,RDH4 and internet info. These are really gonna help glue all the theory together.
