Yes- this was an outdoor gig at Applebee's near Asbury Park NJ- they have an outdoor patio- we do gigs there in the spring and summer. They keep having us back because we are not too loud...if you can't beat em', play quieter than them....

Maple- used porter-cable jig- did have to use a hammer to put joints together.

RJ you are doing excellent work here- historic proportions,,,, Having made 4 Rockets myself - 2 with Heyboers ( 2 taps) 1 with Edcor 245V 1 with Edcor 270V they all sound good - the Edcor 245V is similar to the low tap on the Heyboers The Surprise was the 270V Edcor- this one sounds just sounds grea...

I did install a GE 5V4 -it's running 270V on the plates- noticeably softer sounding with the Edcor 245 PT- then again I'm playing the quiet gigs

Just to share some info- rocket build with R'sJ Edcor 245V PT with Sovtek AR4 - 284v on plates with Weber copper cap (soild state simulation ) GZ34 - 278v on plates seems to work and sound fine- not too hot etc... Anyone else use a copper cap? the perfect bar amp with the lower voltages....they don'...
