Re: SLO-100 Rev. 1.3
Ampclones sells some projects that were developed by other people on sloclone forum, and then many people comes back to sloclone for aftersale issues. Not so fair. Didn't know that. Was searching on line for PCB's for my chassis but couldn't find any here in the US which is why I bought these board...

Re: SLO-100 Rev. 1.3
From what I understand from reading at Sloclone, the guys that made the schem there were kind of choked that Ampclones more or less published the Sloclone schem with their boards. Anyway I have built a Sloclone 50 watt using Jed's boards and that schem and layout and it works great so I can vouch f...

Re: SLO-100 Rev. 1.3
Amazing. Identical to the schematic I was sent right down to the notes. Seems Ampclones design is exactly the same as the original SLO-100.

SLO-100 Ampclones
Yes. The boards are very well made. It took about 3 months for me to receive my boards as well and another few weeks to gather up the parts after I received the BOM. I have found that some of the component values are missing from the BOM and that others have different values than those printed on th...

Re: SLO-100 Rev. 1.3
I did and they asked me to create a new post. Said I was confusing them. Guess they don't want me posting in 'their' thread.

SLO-100 Rev. 1.3
Am building an Ampclones SLO-100 Rev. 1.3 amp. Anybody else out there built one or in the process of building one? Seems there are discrepancies between the layout and schematic and incorrect designations on the mainboard in so far as specific potentiometer connections. Tried using the layout and ha...

Re: SLO build
This is the answer I received from Ampclones...still no mention about the mini relay on the board... Problem is caused by an error in switching matrix or faulty LDR. Try to bypass second tone stack...desolder and run bypass wire. Also, short LDRs which are part of the OD channel path (on a resistor ...

Re: SLO build
Well. Seems I'm in the same boat as you...kind of. My SLO-100 is working fine...on the clean channel. No hum or noise and NO distortion. All my clean/crunch switch does is give me more volume on the Crunch channel. I think you are on the right track checking component values. Although I received a s...

Re: SLO build
Took almost 3 months to get my boards. Took another two weeks to gather up the components. Still waiting on the LDR's. I am sure you will receive your boards eventually. DK is very difficult to contact at times and hasn't responded to my E-mail's requesting information. In addition, the schematic an...

Re: SLO build
I am currently building a SLO100 PCB (MB-SLO100 Rev 1.3-Purple) made by Ampclones.com and cannot find values for C38-C40 on any of the material I was sent including the BOM. Does anyone know the values for these Radial Electrolytic Caps?
