Hi Steve,
The sag control is cool to loosen up the amp. Gives more touch response. The body control just made the tone thin. I would have eliminated all those Pentode/Triode switches. I added a switch to turn off one set of power tubes.

Hi, I am looking ffor a source for the relay circuit PC board. Anyone know where to get one... OR is there a foil pattern to make my own?
I need Channel and PAB only.
Thanks!

Re: Brown Note D'Lite 22 (First Build w/Pix)
The 5881's can be used as a direct placement with a 6L6. These tubes have been used for years in Fenders with plate voltages of 460v.Structo wrote:I thought 5881's had a limit of 360v on the plates?
I was also told not to use them in a amp that was spec'd for 6L6GC tubes.

Re: Relay PS Board
The relay board works very well and does not effect the heater supply.
My intentions were to show a pre-built relay board with four relays. I guess you could run it off a separate low voltage transformer.

Re: Output Level Control
Add another pot in series with the master pot. Lift the ground of the original pot and place the new pot there. Set the new pot up as a rheostat. Now add a switch across the pot to bypass.
With the pot in the circuit you will get a volume jump.

Re: Relay PS Board
Have you all seen the 4 relay board offered by Weber? It's got 4 relays all powered off half of the heater supply. I installed one using only three of the four relays and it works great. Here is a link to a picture of the unit. https://taweber.powweb.com/store/chansw-4bd.jpg Link to the catalog page...

Re: FX loop
Wet = All effect. Dry = No effect. I have built and use a Parallel effects loop. They are based on the TUT design. The parallel loop is a great feature and extremely useful. It's like a reverb mix knob from your amp changed to an effects mix. I do understand Dogears explanation that the Dumbulator m...
