Re: New source for ODS boards?
Hey guys- I've received a few emails and PMs regarding the boards. I have a few remaining individual boards if Doug or others can supply the main and relays. I'm not able to update the website at this time as the computer I used to build it is in storage between recent moves.... Below is what is lef...

Re: Circuit boards back in stock
Per a few requests, I've added a standard power supply to the available stock. As with the other boards, it's a "drop in" for the CE chassis. All filter caps mount to the board and do not require a can cap or axial cap mounted near V1. The spacing allows for a 40uF @ 500V for V1 and V2 for the 102 b...

Re: Possible production run of circuit boards
Any news on the d lator set? Any options are at least a few weeks out. I have a sample in production of a replica of the original Triad unit used in the Dumbleators. It's the same specs/dimensions and would mount on the rear of a single space enclosure. Price would be around $30 depending on the to...

Re: Bluesmaster PI Values
I know I'm in the minority, but this circuit could become my favorite new amp...... I should preface that I've been away from tubes for quite some time and literally had not plugged into an amp for over a year. I gig 2 - 3 time a week (corporate function/wedding reception band) and had been using an...

Re: Bluesmaster PI Values
Well it's up and running and actually sounds very good after I got the voltages where they needed to be. The only thing I question at this point is the mid boost. It works fine when in Jazz mode, but there is little to no audible change when in rock. Any ideas?

Re: Bluesmaster PI Values
Thanks. One other question..... I always thought the megaboost on the Bluesmasters was just lifting the ground on the mid pot using half of a relay. I haven't traced a schematic out from the latest (REV 6) layout, but it there is clearly more going on with it. Has anyone built one using the latest l...

Re: Bluesmaster PI Values
Decided to throw together a Bluesmaster based on Tony's REV6 layout today..... How critical are the 511 ohm and 9K resistors in the phase inverter vs the standard Marshall flavor of 470 and 10K? Should I wait until I have the correct values on hand or go with the Marshall values I have? Thanks Hi J...

Circuit boards back in stock
FYI, everything is back in stock and ready to ship. Prices are lower on full sets as well as the majority of individual boards.

Re: NOS Parts Find
Are the boards available for order now? 8) Almost.... I screwed up the quantity on the relay boards when I placed the order, but should have the remaining stock next week. I have everything else on hand and ready to go. The website has been updated and the prices are lower on the majority of boards...

Re: NOS Parts Find
Holy smokes! Those things are pricey non-original! Very cool. I thought I was going to open the thread to a pile of q-lines! Great find nonetheless I wish it were q-lines..... I don't have the time and patience to search out some of the parts. I typically don't get into the NOS parts or the goal fo...

NOS Parts Find
Not as great as period correct resistors, but I did find 3 NOS Ernie Ball amp handles. It should have been 5, but I received 2 funky single screw handles.... Still a good find.

Re: Date code on Schumacher/Fender Transformer
Thanks Tony. It's a standard OT. Not sure if it's ideal for me as I don't have any 4 ohm cabs. I use an attenuator pretty much 100% of the time live (Faustine Phantom) to knock off a few dBs and I don't know how it will behave with a mismatched load.

Date code on Schumacher/Fender Transformer
I just found this old Fender output transformer that has been stored in one of my parts bins for a number of years..... Does anyone have an idea what era this is from? I assume it's a 1975??? I wonder how close it is to the xformer in Robben's #102 (EIA code 606 144). Thanks. [img:1280:960]http://im...
