Tweed Bassman Bias Pot Wiring
Hey all, For the life of me I can't recall what goes where when installing a trim pot attached to the bias supply with the resistor to ground before the trim pot, as shown in the picture below. Usually on a Marshall the wiper and "end" of the pot are grounded and the other terminal goes to the resis...

Fender PA 100 questions
Just scored a ʻ75 Fender PA 100 for free. A friend was getting rid of stuff in his studio and gave it to me saying that it doesn't work. A few leaking power supply e-lytics replaced and she's up and running. Now what to do with it... The cool points are that I now have a boat load of 2-35 taper pots...

Re: Bright channel issues
Finally arrived at home and pulled the chassis. Triple checked the Rp voltage and reflowed the area. RE-installed the original tube and reflowed the input jacks. Issue resolved! What a moron. Should've thought to do that first! Thanks for the help guys.

Re: Bright channel issues
Changed V1 tube and still measured 0V, replaced Rp and reflowed all solder in the area. Still no dice. Hmmmm...

Re: Bright channel issues
Excuse the confusion. I'm getting 0v reading at the circled turret and 290 at pin 6 of V1.

Bright channel issues
I have a 50watt shared cathode Bass head that the bright channel isn't working on. I'm on the road away from the amp until next week, but, it's been bothering me. Everything works except for the bright channel. EQ, GFB circuit, etc. On the tube side of the V1b plate resistor, I'm getting 0V on my fl...

Re: Bandmaster Ultra Phonix Amp
Looking at the photos in this thread, I can't tell if it's 6PS or 716 polypropylene. Any thoughts?

Re: Ry Cooder's Borderline Special
Here's the Magnatone tremolo circuit. Put in a 2M2 resistor in place of the 3M3, and adjust the value of the capacitors and pots, then it looks a lot like this Thanks for sharing. Which magnatone circuit did you take this screenshot from? I wonder if the tremolo on this song is either of his Dumble...

Possibly draloric?!
Are the 150k resistors on the right a modern production Draloric LCA? I have them next to some old Q-line/Dralorics for comparison, but I'm not quite sure of manufacturer. If not LCA's, do you guys know what they might be? Here's to hoping. [IMG:1024:768]http://i255.photobucket.com/albums/hh159/hale...

EJ's Rebuilt 1959HW help
A while ago there was an auction for EJ's (Alessandro rebuilt?) 1959HW used in 2006, with these photos. By chance does anyone have saved, the rest of the auction photos? Here's to hoping.
