Re: Steel String Singer

It does seem to have taken a few EJ twists and turns :D Any SSS info is welcome in this thread though, and was the main point of the thread.

Re: Steel String Singer

Great story Allan. Eric is a genius, I would of loved to hear him through one of your amps.

BTW which of your amps would suit a Marshall lover more The OD2 or Tucana?

Re: cougar "sweet little singer" sss clone

I discovered this a few months ago. It definitely sounds excellent. It really excites me to see another SSS copy amp out there. Seems to be fairly new since he's taking pre-orders and the price is TBA. I would love to play a Cougar amp. Although it does say he is taking no more orders for that amp ...

You guys are driving me nuts. I have never seen Eric live, so jealous :D Eric is the ultimate guitarist IMHO he has tone, chops, melody. I just wish he would get a proper band together with a really good singer. EJ has used an ODS before too during the 80's. I have heard people say the song Zap is ...

Steel String Singer

First post here.
Excellant forum, with very knowledgable people. I am looking forward to getting involved here.

Anway......

Has anyone on this forum built a SSS clone? I am interested in building an ultimate clean amp and the SSS seems like the way to go.
