Re: Can I Parallel 2 Mosfets in VVR?
One other way, less simple but I think working, will be to build a pair of complete VVR and to connect it in seires then adjust the first pot as the first VVR lower the voltage by 1/2 of what you require and the second one to reduce the remaining excess of voltage this way you are sure the power dis...

Re: Two 20 watt amps in one chassis - layout/grounding
It is some time I'm working to a stereo amp based on a pair of VOX AC4 circuits (two different versions of the VOX AC4) in the same cabinet as to try to prevent ground problems I tried to read here and there and to collect a bit of documentation I ended with the intention to incorporate on each amp ...

Re: Can I Parallel 2 Mosfets in VVR?
Just for knowledge At the begin I didn't understand well why you want to use a pair of Mosfet in parallel for VVR for the same reason .... I can't imagine a tube amp needing parallel MOSFETs for VVR. however reading your post I remembered a circuit a friend sent to me some years ago Double Mosfet VV...

Re: Schematic for oddball Sano amp
.... The schematic is not imho showing the jfet correctly .... I agree with you, the simbol that was used is the simbol of an SCR Diode As I'm not confident with Jfet and other Solid State components, if someone can put on the actual schematic where are placed the Source - Drain - Gate connections ...

I decided to revise my 2W and 3W (Metal Film) Power Resistor Stencil using bot Color Bands and Numeric Values on each resistor

Re: Dumble Preamp (for SE amp)
.... I think a traditional fixed resistor. Why switched? I mean that the pots on the schematic, that are swapped using a switch, are acting, one at a time, as grid leak resistor ... You mentioned 6Av6 before power tube. Is there a reason for choosing this over a 12AX7 or AT7 or AY7. I told 6AV6 bec...
