Re: Tube Spacing

I think it was V4, the one to the right, if you're looking at the amp from its back. Yes, the power tubes were almost read, a very dark orange. And no, strangely enough, the bias read normal, which is about 50 mv.

Re: Trainwreck With Power Scaling ???

The amp is 55 watts. Would I have to use heatsinks/ventilation?

Re: Trainwreck With Power Scaling ???

And what about the heat issue? I worry a bit since the head is such a small one.

Re: Tube Spacing

PRR, Thanks for your post. I've had something weird (for me, at least) happening to one of the tubes in my amp, which is QUITE compact. The glass wall of one of the tubes was "pushed in" a bit, like someone had pushed it in with their finger. I was also getting sparks near the on/off switches when I...

Distortion,
That's amazing. How do I get a quote for one of your cabs? Do you have a website?
Thanks

Re: Trainwreck With Power Scaling ???

Hi everyone, sorry to jump the thread but I'd like to ask Fischerman to keep us posted. I followed his thread on a PS Wreck with interest. I'm about to do the same with my amp - an Alessandro Bloodhound, but I'm having cold feet because I don't want to change the sound of the amp. Unfortunately, the...

Yeah, jelle is right. As the old saying goes "Never argue with an idiot. People looking at it might not know who is who". Let's STICK TO WHAT THIS FORUM IS ALL ABOUT - FREE, NO-NONSENSE, NO-BS, NO POLITICAL EXCHANGE OF PRECIOUS INFO. I still remember, back in the day, reading all the crap published ...

Re: Renamed Wreck Clones

Ha! These guys think they can have their cake and it it too! They chose a path which put at risk the very principles a GEAR DISCUSSION PAGE should follow, namely, the free exchange of information. They keep claiming that there's no hidden agenda behind their scheming, their changing of allegations e...

Re: Anyone try a choke in an Express?

Thanks oldepicker,
Have you by any chance ever tried your amp through an ALL-EV 4X12?
By the way, has anyone here done this?

ANY LOVE FOR CELESTION G12T-75's?

Hi everyone, I don't know if this has been discussed here before. But anyway, I was offered a sweet deal on a 1960B with aforementioned speakers. The catch is that it's a bit far from where I live and I can't try it out with my head before buying. I play an Alessandro Bloodhound. Would it be a good ...
