I'm with you on that one, I have built a few low plate ODS amps and always go back to the High plate.

Nice build and choice of components.

The 1M is to give the grid ground reference either side of the 27K really makes no difference but in this case because of the 0.1uf capacitor it needs to be connected directly to the gird.

i like the minimalist look, I just had a diezel big max in for repair that has the same idea the face plate is very simple and clean looking.
