New ROCKET Cabinet - at the gig..

Post by njwrecks »

Maple- finger joints, Boiled Linseed Oil. Danish Oil, Minwax wax paste...
It was a bear to sand and oil but looks as it should.
I made a pedal board to fit on top- never liked things on the ground...delay, reverb, chorus/ Vib.......use effects when amp is low- when its all out you don't need any- I never get to play it all out..kids having dinner 10 feet away..

Beautiful cab. Was the gig really at Applebee's? I wouldn't have thought they'd have live music.

Applebees

Yes- this was an outdoor gig at Applebee's near Asbury Park NJ- they have an outdoor patio- we do gigs there in the spring and summer. They keep having us back because we are not too loud...if you can't beat em', play quieter than them....

Nice tones! Don't usually hear that out of a Rocket. Great playing too. :)

I think I know what you meant, so I am just being a smart Aleck here when I ask "have you heard one with the power switch on...?"
