Red Iron T-Rex?
Hello all, I'm new to this forum. I recently puchased aT-Rex from Red Iron Amps and it sounds amazing. The tubes it came with got damaged in shipping so it going microphonic, but new ones are being shipped to me. Anyway, one of my local friends who posts here suggested I ask around here for some info. My friend thinks that this amp is patterned after the express. Any experinces or thoughts? The amp has nos Tungsol 6552 octal preamp tubes and 6CA7 nos cathode biased power amp tubes. The controls are simple Vol, Treb, Bass, that's it.... Thanks for being a great resource....

I've never heard of Red Iron Amps. Do they have a web site?

Re: Red Iron T-Rex?
nope---nothing like an express. it has a baxandal tone stack for starters, so it has more in common with a valco/silvertone/others, etc amp from that perspective. rh
