I'd recommend the Brown Note kits - if not the D'Lite, one of their 18watters. Brown Note stuff is very high quality.

I agree with those who suggest the D'Lite. It's a great amp and for the kind of tones you can get out of it is a pretty easy and fun build. I had a great time building it.
I just got the first of Ceriatone's production ODS builds and,,man,, from scratch I would be pretty intimidated with building one. I've built a fair number of 18 watts and Fenders over the years........???!!!
BUT ....even looking in this thing I feel like a kid gazing in a huge aquarium admiring all the pretty little fish. Daunting.

Re: calling all coaches
Which stage kit did you get?
I thought Nik sold those with the main board already populated?
Or did you just get the bare turret board?

Re: calling all coaches
I just went ahead and got the complete amp. I ordered this as a one-off for a customer of mine back in June. I'm too busy to bother sourcing an amp like this from scratch. I like it enough that I've decided to keep it and build him something else..lol.Structo wrote:Which stage kit did you get?

Re: calling all coaches
I was going to order one too, as a reference...
They are no longer available...

Re: calling all coaches
That is (other than it sounds really good) the reason I want to keep it; for reference.
