I've gone ahead and added the passive loop to my D'Lite Bluesmaster and have a question on running effects in it... Especially reverb units. I have both a Lexicon LXP-1 and an Alesis Microverb 4. They both have level controls for in and out as well as Mix. The mix control I have under control, but my question revolves around setting the levels properly so that the master volumes still control the overall volume level.
Now I couldn't find any real good references to how to wire the loop for the Bluesmaster with Clean and OD masters, so I took the common PI feed from the OD relay and ran it to the back "Out" jack, tied the "Out" jacks switched lug to the "In" jacks tip lug and ran a wire back to the PI input... Is this waaaay off base?
Thanks,
Andy

Re: Effects in Dumble passive loop...
I have the same Lexicon and while i like playing with it in the passive effectsloop (i took it from a layout by Normster)soft at home i can`t really use it in a band situation.
My guess is that there is a big impedance mismatch and i am planning to build a dumbleator for that purpose.

Re: Effects in Dumble passive loop...
I plan on building a dumbelator as well, but I'm waiting on the transformers. In the meantime I am trying to verify that I wired the loop in properly.
Thanks,
