Hi ,i ve heard that the first ods bias diode is a 1n4001 not 1n4007, is it true?THANKS

With a PIV of 30V I sincerely doubt it. It wouldn't likely make any difference anyway. If you want to get into fancy diodes look at Fairchild stealth or Hexfred technology. All the 1N series are pretty much the same except for PIV, and they all cost a nickle.
