Anyone Used Tayda Pot Switches?

Post by wattsup »

Just out of curiosity. Has anyone used the pot switches from Taydaelectronics.com in an amp build? They're smaller but are still rated at 1/2 watt. If you have used them, can you tell a difference?

Ok, so just their mini-pots. I've used a couple on pedals with no problems. They should be fine on an amp I would think.

I've used them on many amp builds, with no issues.

Tayda is my go to source for pots/toggles/jacks etc.

I've bought stuff from this seller on eBay. No problem at all. Excellent prices. Reasonable delivery time from SE Asia, not weeks and weeks and weeks. If he has what you want, go for it.

I sent a query to Tayda. They're 150V AC and 30V DC. They are 1/2W pots though. Would they still work or would it be better to have a higher DC rated pot?
