(RLC) cathodes in preamp
First, I will ask is anyone has a simple example of same combination in more than one configuration with a graphical display of outcome in the frequency domain?
I have a couple setups that I have previously used, but now that I revisit, I am struggling with the concept. I have a handful of unknown value inductors I experiment with and I used to have a general idea of what they were doing. haha
I have two known 500mH inductors I am playing with right now and I am struggling to get the thing I expect from looking at the calculator.
It's like the first 50 times I tied my fingers into shoe laces.

Miles,
What type of inductor are you using?
Can't answer your question, but I have hundreds of various inductors and cores.

Small value air cores and these potted ones that weigh enough to be plutonium, guessing iron because of how they heat up.
The known values are Fasel wha inductors.
I'll round up the posse for a group shot.

I've got many different styles and values - got them in an estate sale with enough other components to completely fill my FJ Cruiser. Selling off the RF parts/components, including these, but if there are some values you think you can use, let me know.

Re: (RLC) cathodes in preamp
FWIW, I had on hand an EF86 preamp design, I was tweaking and took a few snapshots in Micro-Cap with two inductor values. It should be noted that curves will vary with the voltage and there are a bunch of "ifs" associated, however, it might be useful. If I get the time in a few days, I'll dig out something of dual triode nature and repeat.

Re: (RLC) cathodes in preamp
Would you sell the set in the last pic? Or maybe a grab bag of a few of each of the bins...?
