That cap and resistor bridging technique is no longer necessary on modern silicon. The manufacturers have made massive improvalence in the part to part tolerances.

Just got filter caps in a couple days back and a selection of values of 25w
resistors to interchange, a couple more repairs and the bench will be guilt free.
A quiet bridge will make the project.
