I've built a 5F6A and loved it, tone was great. If you wanted to you could just try some of the things Dumble did to circuits like add LNFB and adjust to high plate settings like in some of the dumbles etc.

There are a lot of fun options you could do to see how it comes out :)

Is that a Zinc Chromate primer or your finish coat?

Back on this project. To recap, if was a rusty SF Bassman someone gave me. Soaked it nd painted it. I just realized that I can do the normal channel of 6G6B and JCM800 in this thing. I found an old board that would work! I don't have the stock I once did so I thought it be both fun and timely to populate the board with the first component I could find, in the parts drawer, that fit the value. I'm working off the 6G6B schematic, with some modded marshall stuff thrown in therefor the 800 side.
