Re: Anyone have plans for a Matchless style cabinet?
Sorta off topic.
I have built one of the ax84 112 cabinets and was not impressed. It was built from regular plywood i had lying around the house and was mostly an experiment in hopes that it would sound good but sounded boxy and not dynamic. I never mastered the craft of cabinet building. I wound up going and paying for some decent cabs and scrapping my cab building projects.
Some people have the skill and some don't.

Fender 5E3 cabinet
Hey Mark,
Thanks for all your help getting the drawings, I almost have the 5E3 cab done, but am confused on the baffle assy, have you or anyone here built this from Scott Coles drawing dated 5/25/2001?
befor I go into details, wanted to see if anyone has built it.

The plans state 18.38 W x 14.75 H and then add 1" W x 0.25" thick filler strips around the perimeter.
The speaker center is offset so 8" from one side and 8.25" from top.

They have a cleat on top and bottom then a facia strip on top and bottom outside.
