Re: Dumble vs Trainwreck
Is he old enough to shave?
Maybe he just needs to get laid. Wish him luck with that. He'll need it.
Get a haircut. Any haircut but that. Maybe it will help him with the above.

I'm not sure Phil, but surely you can see the kid knows tone.

Now that is some funny shite. The great thing is he is now forever immortalized on the net with that stupid video.
Back in the early 90s when I just started into amps, and before that kid was born, I saw Robben Ford numerous times. I can assure him that there is nothing sterile about Dumble amps, and Robben's tone is brighter than others too.
Tone is a subjective color apparently one not in this kids paint pallette.

He should get up off his butt, move out of his parents' enervating free rent & all-found environment, get a job and shift for himself.
All while he still knows everything!!

When I see stuff like this, I am so glad there wasn't the internet and electronics in my youth to document my foolishness.

I agree with him
But I think my Roland Cube Mini sounds better than my #183 dumble clone or Trainwreck amps.

I notice that Derek shares his TW Rocket with a lot of younger musicians, students ect. . I think it's commendable that he shares such a rare instrument with young aspiring musicians.
